Chris Duva attended the University of Rhode Island, where he met his wife, Maria. After graduation, they moved to Maria’s hometown in Central Massachusetts, driven by a shared dream of owning their own business. That dream began with both of them leaving their jobs to open a convenience store in the heart of Shrewsbury. As their family grew with the birth of their two children, Chris and Maria decided to sell the store and take a bold step into the world of distribution.

Since 1997, Duva Distributors has been proudly family-owned and operated by the Duva Family. Chris has remained passionate about meeting and exceeding the needs of his customers. What started with just a few core bakery lines has grown into a diverse offering, reflecting the evolving needs of his customers. By expanding product lines and services, Duva Distributors has become a trusted one-stop shop, committed to making life easier for busy businesses.
